Send feedback

  1. In the Blame panel, click ••• and choose Send feedback…
  2. A zip named Blame-feedback-….zip lands on your Desktop, and Finder shows it.
  3. Email it to [email protected] with what happened.

The zip holds Blame's logs from the last 14 days, including program names and command lines, Blame's crash reports, and the Blame and macOS versions. Blame never sends it for you. Privacy has the rest.

Logs

~/Library/Logs/Blame/, one file a day, kept 14 days. Settings › About › Show logs in Finder opens the folder.

Updates

Blame checks getblame.app once a day and installs a new version at the next quit. Settings › About › Updates switches either off, and Check for Updates… checks now.

Uninstall

  1. If it is on, switch off Settings › General › Open Blame at login.
  2. Quit Blame: ••• › Quit Blame.
  3. Drag Blame from Applications to the Trash.

To remove what it kept too, run this in Terminal:

rm -rf ~/Library/Logs/Blame
rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/com.sidhanthpandey.memwatch
rm -rf ~/Library/HTTPStorages/com.sidhanthpandey.memwatch
defaults delete com.sidhanthpandey.memwatch
